Big Brother Sam Reading To Sylbie About Sharks
We had Sam this summer and we worked tons on his reading. He came to us hating to read. This photo was taken towards the end of the summer where I found him reading to Sylbie ALL on his own. It made me emotional and I just had to take a picture. We took him to the library often and he went to a tutor every week and through that we realized he enjoys reading informational books. I mean, what better book could he want to read...how awesome!! Way to go Sam!!
The Minnesota State Fair
This was my first time at the MN State Fair!! The family had a blast! It was insane how many people were there. We ate like pigs, I think I gained 20 pounds and I could have kept eating. We ate roasted corn, hot dogs, french fries and fried oysters!! We have a ride addict in the family already, Sylbie could not get enough of the rides. Looks like I'll have a roller coaster buddy someday!! Yeah!! The craziest thing for me is that EVERYTHING was on a stick. They even had deep fried candy bars, 'What The Heck'!! I know we will make this a family tradition, I mean you have to for the roasted corn, but never again on a Saturday!
Sammy's Summer Baseball
This year Sam played baseball with the Parks & Recreations Center. He LOVED it and Sylbie & Sawyer loved watching their big brother play ball. Sylbie HAD to get a purple baseball glove and couldn't quite understand why she could not play!!

Time To Play Catch-Up
Here are some pictures from 4th of July weekend. We went camping at Lake Beauty Bible Camp with my in-laws!! It was a blast. We already reserved our sites for next year!! YEAH!
